The Microgrids Convergence Conference consists of two days of discussions on practical microgrids, microgrid markets, and smart cities and microgrids. This year DNV GL is a Gold Sponsor and will have several microgrid experts at the event. Participation includes:

Tuesday, October 25 - Track 1: Practical Microgids

At 11:45 a.m. DNV GL's Sudipta Lahiri, Senior Consultant, will join Navigant, Clean Coalition, and US Grid Company on the ownership models panel where panelists will discuss the different ownership models for microgrids, as well as the pros and cons of the different models and how each model is financed. 

Wednesday, October 26 - Track 3: Smart Cities & Microgrids

DNV GL's Gary Calderon, Principal Consultant, will serve as Chair, offering a Welcome & Introduction, as well as introducing all moderators and panels throughout the day.

At 11:00 a.m. David Erickson, Head of Section - Distributed Energy Resources at DNV GL, will participate on the smart city-microgrid nexus a panel where he and other panelists will discuss how microgrids and smart city technologies interact to provide mutual benefits.

At 4:00 p.m. DNV GL's Michael Kleinberg, Senior Consultant, will participate on the panel discussion: The Role for Blockchain Technologies in Microgrids & Smart Cities.
